What switches
From the 3D model viewer, Gaussian splat files (SPLAT, SPZ, KSPLAT, SOG), 3D Tiles packages and DWG or DXF drawings open in their own viewers, because they need different controls and tools.
- 2
What stays
Everything else opens in the 3D model viewer itself. PLY can hold either a mesh or a splat, so Any3D looks inside the file instead of going by the extension.

Your files come along
The switch keeps the files you dropped, so the new viewer opens them right away without asking you to upload again.
