OBJ is a common format used by 3D modeling tools like Blender and Maya. Its color and surface detail live in companion MTL files and texture images. This viewer loads OBJ and material files together and renders the model in real time, so you can quickly check the result. Everything is processed locally and nothing is uploaded, keeping your work private.

Drag your OBJ file onto the page, or click to select a file. If you have associated textures, package them into a ZIP and upload together.
Drag with the mouse to rotate the model, scroll to zoom, and inspect the appearance, colors, and animations from any angle.
Your files are processed only in your browser. No data remains after you close the page.
Make sure you upload all required assets: the .obj file, the .mtl file, and every texture image. A ZIP archive containing them in one folder is the easiest way to avoid missing files.
This is usually caused by a mismatch between the image paths in the MTL file and the uploaded files. Put the textures in the same folder as the OBJ, or upload a ZIP from that folder.
Such models are automatically split into material groups. Upload all related files and you will see the assembled result with each material in place.
Yes. Drag to rotate the view and use the scroll wheel to zoom. You can inspect the model from any angle with smooth performance and no extra software.
Yes. Nearly all 3D programs open OBJ, so it is a safe choice for sharing. Keep the .obj, .mtl, and texture files together and send them as a ZIP. For a true single-file option, convert to GLB.
Yes. Photogrammetry tools export textured OBJ meshes of scanned objects and scenes. Upload the OBJ along with its MTL and texture files, or a ZIP containing them, to inspect the scanned surface in detail.
